ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

Studio Hasharat (Hasharat LLC, “Hasharat”) is a small studio based in New York City. Our designs are all made to order, and since insects can vary in color and sizes please expect some variation. We also reserve the right to substitute some of the specimen in the product pages with others depending on availability.

PAYMENT

We accept payment through most credit cards and transactions are processed on a secure server. In the U.S., sales tax will be added automatically based on shipping destination.

ORDER TURNAROUND TIME

Our cases and globes are made to order in our New York studio. For any order placed through our website, please allow a 6-8 week lead-time until your items(s) are ready for shipment. We try to accommodate rush orders where possible, please contact info@studiohasharat.com before placing your order.

GIFT WRAP

We offer free gift wrapping, and will add a gift message to your order, please email info@studiohasharat.com after placing the order.

SHIPPING

For products that can be shipped, shipping cost is calculated at checkout. Please allow 6-8 weeks for your order to be handmade and ready for shipment.

Once you place your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming that your order has gone into production and that your card has been charged. It may take up to 6-8 weeks from receipt of your order confirmation for your items to be ready to ship. You will receive another email once the item has shipped with tracking information.

A signature is required upon delivery. We use UPS, Fedex and DHL for our deliveries. Each will attempt to deliver to your address multiple times if unsuccessful on their first try. Hasharat is not responsible for additional shipping fees if you are not available to receive your package.

We will not deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses. Should you need to ship your items to multiple destinations, you will have to place multiple orders.

International shipping: We do not use any endangered species but the trade and transfer of insects and butterflies internationally is regulated. If your chosen product falls under C.I.T.E.S. regulation, it can only be shipped to the US, and we will let you know and offer you an alternative, or offer you a refund.

Glass domes must be ordered on the custom order page. They are fragile and can only be delivered by hand. If you would like to organize for your own courier pick up, please get in touch by emailing info@studiohasharat.com

Very occasionally, UPS, Fedex and DHL can experience shipping delays. We unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges in these circumstances as the shipping services do not refund these charges to us.

We use recycled and recyclable shipping and packing materials whenever possible.

STUDIO  PICK-UP

Studio pick-up is available for all online orders at our Manhattan location studio. Once your order is ready, we will reach out to you to confirm and schedule a pickup time. Studio pick-up is available Wednesday - Sunday, 10:30am - 8pm at 200 W 20th Street.

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect the information you provide to process orders placed and, if you elected our mailing list, to send periodic updates about our products.  However, we do not share any of your information with anybody - ever.  Our complete Privacy Policy can be read here.  Should you wish to unsubscribe or have other concerns about your information, please email us here.

DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE

Despite our very best efforts to prevent it, items are occasionally damaged during shipping. Should this happen it is important that you keep all of the original packaging and contact us within 3 days of receiving the item at info@studiohasharat.com. We will replace your item and reship as soon as the courier has inspected and obtained possession of the original package and the replacement products are available for shipment.

RETURNS

Since our items are made to order, all sales are Final Sale and are not eligible for exchange or return.
